The nonprofit organization is incorporated to operate transitional employment so that wages, along with real work experience and personal improvement could help build a foundation for self-sufficiency. The mission of Blue Jacket, Inc. is to provide a full spectrum of services that lead to the reduction of crime and the enrichment of the workforce and economic structure for offender populations. An indefinite incubation period under the auspice of Allen County Community Corrections will enable Blue Jacket, Inc. the ability to create a funding stream and eventually become self sustaining.
